You know, the first time I read this chapter, I was listening to the song "How the Gods Kill" by Danzig. It made everything twice as dark.

I completely binged both The Wedding and this story over an embarrassingly short time period. They were just beautiful!

Hey, just finished your story, and I really liked it. I did think the final battle was a bit implausible with the switch in Peeta and Katniss' roles being altered. Since in the book, they're part of this 'Star Squad,' they're actually moving throughout the Capitol. However, with Katniss not being there, and Peeta having trained at the hospital, it's much more likely that Peeta would've been with Prim and the rebel medics. Thus, the likelihood of either both of them dying or both of them surviving is substantially more likely than what happened here, depending on whether or not Peeta identified the bomb idea, which he may have since he saw the plans with Katniss in your story.

You killed poor Mags and Chaff twice! You mentioned that both were killed by capitol before resistance could get them to 13 to safety, but then Mags died again in the bombing of 13 and Chaff in the war in Capitol. This is probably one of the things you were going to fix while editing, but I don't know if you were going to read only a couple chapter ahead before editing, in which case this kind of mistake might be left unnoticed.

Also, I think that Johannas lines when they were voting for holding Hunger Games once more with capitol children are too bitter to fit Beetee's mouth. I think it would work better to leave it out. Beetee might be a weapons designer, but I think his interests are in the development, not in the usage. I think he is the kind of character whose brain is whirring in a higher gear, but as a result, he is a bit detached and lacking of moral sense. Hence why he could develop a weapon that in essence targeted human virtue. Still, I don't think he would be in favor of holding Revenge Hunger Games.

I loved TOM though, even if I'm sad for Johanna, and for Prim of course, but I see why Prim's death was necessary, and if it was a choise between Finnick and Johanna, maybe... just maybe, I like Finnick a little bit more.
