that was...amazing. I'm actually surprised how good it was, lol. no offense. alot of people can't capture the essence of this topic as well as you did, let alone blend it so smoothly between memory and forgetting. if you get what I mean. well done, kudos.

Non-Alzheimer's dementia is one of the saddest diseases. Both of my parents have struggled with it. You have captured the sadness of all who are affected very beautifully and poignantly.

This is wonderfully written. It's certainly complete as it stands, but there are so many possibilities for taking this story further, I hope you consider examining this universe a bit more.

It feels unfinished, somehow - too many possibilities left open. (Of course, that may be what you intended!) I want to know if Tony takes Gibbs back to the facility, or home with him. Did Tony buy Gibbs' house, or is it gone forever? Etc., etc., etc.
