She could consider buying or adopting a pet. She could get any animal but if she wants one that shows loyalty and affection then I would recommend a dog or a cat. I have two dogs and two cats so I know how helpgul they can be

Nice, caring fiction. I like when Jade is compassionate. She's capable of showing it. She's just so damaged.

I think this Works better as a one-shot, more mysterious that way, plus it kinda gvives Jade a more humanine side when she shows that she cares for Cat.

You should definitely write more, although I do think this is a pretty fabulous oneshot. I never noticed that before about Mr. Purple. I liked the way you tied it into Cat and Jade growing apart a little. I just love their friendship so much and you did a wonderful job. Have fun on your holiday!
