it's a..ahem...interesting chappie but...I'm not much of a big fan with the pairing...not because it's gay, I'm not a bigot...but HikaruxAkira just doesn't sit well...and the Mor guy who would actually think that everyone would love this should go fall in a ditch. I don't like the pairing and I don't care if you do want me to be sent to eternal damnation. If you want to be a good writer, then you're gonna have to learn to deal with reviews, including bad ones. So don't whine about the flames you get! Don't expect to have EVERYONE love this story and review it good, my friend. But hey, it's nice.

The idea you had was good, but the way you wrote it could have been better.

First of all, your dialog. It seems a little too much like the rest of your writing, and it kinda shouldn't. When your writing dialog, try to write it in words similar to the words you would use to get the point across. For example, the first line of dialog in this fic. Feel free to ignore this if I'm wrong, but that isn't the sort of thing that a person would say. It doesn't even make that much sense, to be quite blunt. Next time, really think before you try to write a pretty sentence like that as dialog.

Second off, there's a bit of OOCness in this fic. Getting the characters to sound like themselves is a problem that all fanfic writers struggle with, myself included. But in this fic, I feel that you could really make Hikaru and Akira sound more different from each other. I guess the dialog is a big thing here, but I've already talked about that.

Third, the way that Hikaru and Akira admitted their feelings seemed... off. You sort of seemed to disregard the awkwardness that should have been there. Considering the fact that they had just admitted to each other- to their long-time rivals!- that they were not only gay, but in love with each other. It's not the sort of thing that people just admit to with as little trouble as Hikaru and Akira seemed to have.

Overall, I'd rate this a 5.963 out of 10, with ten being the best. I liked the idea you had, but there's room for improvement as far as writing is concerned. Your writing style is great, just work on that dialog! ;
