Holy fucking shit man you nearly broke my heart in those last few chapters. I’m so fucking glad that there’s sequels, I saw that the story hadn’t been updated in years and thought that this would be the end of it. The pacing of the story could use a little work and the way a few of the character relationships developed was a little bit unrealistic but it was still such an enjoyable read. Can’t wait to read the next one.

For quite a while the romance felt forced. But now, in this chapter, it feels mature and natural. The combat felt visceral and it played almost seamlessly in my mind. Damn good.

If Mandy and Misriah keep letting their emotions take priority, someone will likely die. I find it hard to believe this nonsense, handled in this manner, would actually take place IRL. Great story so far :)

Wait... Unaugmented, but wearing Mjolnir armor? Physical impossibility. First of all, the armor weighs around 1000 lbs. Secondly, the gel layer would literally have her tearing herself apart. Non-Spartans just don't have the reflexes necessary to use the Mjolnir. That's why they are the only ones that wear it.
