More, please! This is a wonderful story!

Oh my goodness, I love this story! The characters have so much depth and the storyline is so well written! It's not so fast that you have no clue what's going on and not so slow to be painful, I envy your writing skills.
Unfortunately, there is one thing greviously wrong with your work, and if it isn't fixed at one point or another I doubt I'll keep reading: It hasn't been updated in nearly a year.
Please don't be dead or something, I need to know how this ends!

Whelp, looks like I've got a lot to catch up on! Good!

So chapter 14, and yay, Endarie is back! But we all knew she would make it, of course. In this chapter, I particularly like how you deal with the theme of communication. It's very effective how Endure doesn't speak out loud/intelligibly until half way through (or thereabouts), and when she does her first words concern her sister. I also really like how the wild imagery contrasts with Endarie's personality and level of awareness - you retain her voice remarkably well: "this was no way for an Altmer to carry herself in front of a gods-damned tavern full of filthy human commoners".

Chapter 15 - I always enjoy Ondolemar, and it was fun to see a certain blond Nord popping up too. A good spectacle/play metaphor is crafted in this chapter, that I believe you continue effectively in a later one with Endarie. "Crafted of wolf skins and bad taste" - haha, this is amazing. Although, having typed it out, I wonder if 'from' would work better as the preposition? There was one typo (I think) that interfered with me understanding what was happening slightly - "his burr hair" - not sure what that meant.

Chapter 16 - I'll be honest, my immediate response was 'is 'curious' the best word to use here?' I think it becomes clear what you mean, but the potential ambiguity of the word (strange/inquisitive) at the beginning of the chapter may not be the best way to start a strong description. However, Valmir is clearly a very curious Altmer indeed, and I love your treatment of him. It's got to the point where I no longer even think of these characters as being from a game, and it was only when typing this review that occurred to me to google him to see if he was from the game or not. I just always assume the characters are yours now, because they are - you've taken them, given them new life, and made them your own. The pace and the alternating chapters is starting to become even more effective - I love the impression of a chase/race against time with lots of different players involved.

Chapter 17 - These atypical pairings (Elenwen/Valmir, Endarie/Belrand) are really effective too. I love the exploration of the relationship of the latter pair in this chapter, and the way Endarie's distrust is explored and developed.

Chapter 18 - I really like the opening to this one, very powerful. The Dark Brotherhood thing was very funny - I enjoy these little nods to the wider world/timeline of the Elder Scrolls universe, as with the use of jump spells a few chapters back. The real pièce de résistance of this chapter is, of course, the troll fight. I liked how you didn't shy away from the realistic implications and results of three exhausted, injured, bound mer having to take it on. The burning was gruesomely described, and the use of runes was very interesting.

Chapter 19 - Ahah, now we get a bit more of an insight into Belrand! it's here that the 'spectacle' metaphor I mentioned earlier seems to be effectively paralleled: ‘focal point of impromptu play’. Very meta!

Chapter 20 - "He’s as dumb as a sack of rocks at the bottom of a river of stupid" - this just made me laugh! You have 'Dragonbridge' all in one word here, not sure if that was intentional?

Chapter 21 - It was very nice to get a bit more insight into Ondolemar and the history of the Beautiful here. "I’m not Thalmor, I’m Beautiful" - a great line. And that outburst, wow. It's hard to say, because your description paints the scene so effectively, but I think I would have liked a bit more dialogue here, just to 'hear' Ondolemar express all his pent-up frustration and anger.

Chapter 22 - Good to hear more about Endarie's relationship with Taarie. A great, tense build-up to a very well-written fight. Can't wait to read more, and find out what happens next. Will they all reach Windhelm?

This is slightly uneven feedback I know - I just wanted to get down what had struck me most upon reading each chapter. Overall this is very cleverly written with great attention to all kinds of details, and I do hope you'll take up writing it again.

I love this. I've always been kind of obsessed with the Altmer, and it's fantastic to find such a well-written and interesting story that is in no way 'cookie-cutter'.

Very exciting fight scene. "If nothing else, she'd die with healthy looking locks." I'm so glad you're keeping her attitude and personality even in the heated moments.

An update! Yay :D I love this story so much that I wish this were all canon. Imagine getting to interact with the Beautiful in the game and doing some quests for them! I hope things turn for the best and the group gets reunited again. I so wish for a happy ending

I will continue to check for updates because DAMMIT this story is good! Thanks for everything you've written so far by the way. It's kind of rare coming across a story with such substance these days, where fangirls aren't just putting themselves in the middle of a storyline and messing things up. I actually still find myself laughing at some of the funny moments from this when they come to mind and even quoting some of the awesomely written one-liners in here, most often Ondolemar's. I love how you developed the characters and everything makes so much sense! I didn't even know Taarie and Endarie actually existed and you'd laugh at my utterly flabbergasted reaction when I finally found my way into Solitude. Visiting the places you described so well also and going "Oh, I see. So that's where (characters) infiltrated the (something cool) in that one part of the story."
I guess my point is, you're fic was an awesome ride and I'm glad you let us come along. So thanks. Thanks x1000. :3

YES! I know that was an emotional break for a superior mer, but it was beautiful! Well done, well written and...well...It's just well. In all ways, it is well! Pick an verb and stick a 'well' in front of it.

*squeak!* Another one! I am so, so, so very glad. So Ondolemar and his band did more than just a little damage. That's good to know. The game implies a regular Thalmor presence, but doesn't have the ability to convey it with the limited number of and space for NPC's. I'm glad to get a better sense of that in your story. Carry on. Oh, please, please, please carry on!

And I like the personality choice you picked for Valmir, and the dynamics of his and Elenwen's relationship. Very nice. I am enjoying this a lot.
