I've been binge-reading this story for three days and I can't tell you how awesome it is! Part of me screamed with joy when sign-language came up, and I was glad that I have even a basic knowledge of it! Thanks so much!

ok so here’s the thing: i found this story at around 4:30 pm last night, and thought to myself, “wonderful! a new padawan obi fic! and, oh, 40-some chapters! this will surely keep me entertained for over a week.” boyyyyy, was i wrong. i spent TWELVE hours, STRAIGHT, reading this from start to current. it took me til about 4 am, but i quite literally could. not. put. this. down. i say this with no restraint: my favorite fan fiction i have ever read. hands down. in the span of 12 hours i smiled so hard my cheeks hurt, ugly cried, and (on a few occasions) had to put my phone down for a second and stare at the ceiling to just absorb your perfect writing. do you realize how beautiful this story is that you’ve created? i can’t put it into WORDS. and, thank you, so so so so much, for this story. for taking so much time to pour your pure, unadulterated talent into something this magnificent. THANK YOU. it has a place in my heart now. it’s bookmarked on my phone and i already know that i will be checking for updates *constantly*.

Let me be the first to say that if you ever decided to make a printed copy after it's finished I would buy it.

Wow! Just wow. This story's really grown into a massive loomwork of subplots and aligning characters. Quite complex. Also in the past couple of chapters I was quite startled at the revelation that the other JA plotlines have also still been going on quietly in the background.

First of all how dare you. I was NOT prepared for this story arc to be so intense. I was reading for the cute fluff from before when suddenly things got intense and page turning and awesome. In that way it was a little like reading Defenders of the Dead for the first time, though I hope you'll forgive me when I say I haven't found any fanfic that can compare with the Melida Daan arc. I have spent far too much time reading this arc almost nonstop over the last couple of days.
First, how flipping cute. None of the cuteness from before left in this arc, it was just added onto. Second, deaf/blind/mute culture in SW, more than most people go to the trouble of presenting. Third, Ezhno. Spot on with a lovely JA friend of the week. Fourth, Huei and Feemor. How perfect. I was at the point where I was going to end up writing private fanfic of your fanfic if they didn't end up paired.
This was certainly more violent than I was expecting for a JA fic, but not enough to warrant a higher rating.
Also this fic might benefit from a bit more simple of language, though of course that is totally up to the author.
All in all, excellent job.
I'm curious to see whether it stays at this intensity or goes back to fluff for a while after this.

Oh my god he just helped Shmi give birth to Anakin. Please if u get to the Phantom Menace please have them meet and Shmi remember him. That would be awesome.

The ending of this chapter killed me, this is so lovely I have no words for it and to have Obi-wan there when Anakin is born, no less playing his flute is absolutely beautiful. I've always felt like Obi-wan and Anakin were two side of the same coin and now you've made it more so in my eyes, there is no possible way this could have been written more beautifully, officially my favorite arc. Thank you for such a lovely piece and such a beautifully crafted story.

well, lemme just try not ta cry, but I am loving this story. I only found it the other day, but I love the new stance on the books you are taking. I find myself signing along (one of my sisters is blind, and the other is mute) and feel more connected to the characters as a result. keep up the good work and thank you for your time!
