This was awesome! Even if it is an interlude, I think it was important, seeing Dani’s claustrophobic panic attack for being locked up due to the emotional abuse she suffered under Vlad(and I agree with you not liking him. If I ever saw him in real life, I’ll join Reese in destroying him), and I loved Reese’s reaction towards it and his self-guilt for unintentionally triggering her panic attack.

Thank you for updating this amazing story! I devoured this chapter and loved every second of it.
I can see Dani and Reese butting heads over Reese protecting Dani for a LONG time, and when Reese flung Dani over his shoulder had me cackling. And Dani’s threats in Esperanto towards him were golden.
Low move, Reese. Low move.
Vlad is such a bastard. But I can really see him doing that to Dani, and I hate him even more for that. And I can totally see Dani not wishing to be psychoanalysed.
I wonder if, when she was panicking, Dani lost control of her powers and that is why Reese and Finch are rushing towards the room.

This chapter was awesome! But I understand if it was difficult to write; I have trouble with action scenes as well.
Dani taking down those men would have been awesome. But I can see why Reese handled it that way; it’s what he’s used to doing. Also, while I love her checking on them and her peaceful approach to handling it, Dani’s heart is probably gonna get her killed; what if one of the men had been faking it?
I love how Dani’s fluent in Esperanto. It’s amazing. And that insult was great.
I can see Dani and Reese not getting along at first because they’re both similar; they’re protectors who don’t think they need protecting themselves, and have good souls that will get them killed someday. But when they have to work together, they’ll probably be the most badass duo ever.
Dani, you shouldn’t have said that! You should not have said that!

I love this chapter!
I love the idea of Dani protecting the people trying to protect her; definitely shows she has her “cousin’s” hero complex. I also love how she gives the food she steals to the homeless as well; despite being “raised” by Vlad, she is, at her core, a good person like Danny and has good morals... somewhat.
Your head canon totally makes sense; it works around the whole, “animals can sense the supernatural when humans can’t”, while also referencing to it at the same time. I can’t wait to see how it plays into the rest of the story.
Ah, the Fenton luck. Just as bad as the Parker luck. Still, can’t wait to see how she deals with the drug dealers while trying to “protect” Reese without revealing her powers!

Okay. You have me hooked.
I love this fanfic already! Tbh, I love any fanfic where Dani is a central character, since she’s an interesting character to play with, and I love how you’re characterising her so far and setting up her relationships with the other characters(I can honestly see her trolling Reese and Finch with her powers before they learn her secret), but I feel it’ll be a LONG time before she trusts them, especially with her secret, and I can see her not trusting Finch especially since he built the Machine and getting into arguments how it, technically, invades people’s privacy(even though it helps with crimes)
I’ll be honest, I’ve never watched an episode of Person Of Interest in my life—heck, I didn’t even know it existed! But your fanfic has made me interested in watching it.
I can’t wait for the next chapter, and to see where you take this fan fiction! You have gained a loyal reader here.

well this is interesting. It makes me wonder if Danielle and on the good relationship with Sam, Danny and the rest. Why she still wandering the world. I sounds of it. Sam alone would let her stay and look after her
why did she keep traveling. You could argue that in this story the fruit loop is still in play. So she's keeping a low profile to keep him from getting her.
Either way, I wonder what happened from here
