As soon as I finally picked up BBS, I've just loved the thought of Vanitas being a sort of anti hero and not just a villain. I'd love a situation where him and Sora interact in a non violent but positive way!

Wowowowowowoooow, thank you so fucking much, I absolutely mean it. We both share the same love for the platonic VanSor, or rather Vanitas being redeemable-it's my greatest wish. He just got dealt such a horrible hand, there was no other 'option' for him. Sora being about to communicate with him, at Roxas' clock tower no less, makes me want to tear up. Vanitas is probably the loneliest of all the 'other's created. Everyone had someone, at least at some point. Vanitas had... no one. And them complete perfect duos would be AMAZING, I COULD TOTALLY SEE IT HAPPENING AAHHHH. I just love how Vanitas is Ventus' darkness but in a way-he's more of Sora's darkness. He really is Sora's antithesis more than Ventus, polar beings but still the same yes.

Just thank you so much this is great, if you write a continuation I might just kiss you.

I really enjoyed this oneshot. It really puts in very interesting themes about Vanitas' and Sora's connection, I really like it.

Even with this being short, I really love how their friendship developed and how it moved from talking to Vanitas actually introducing himself properly and so forth. Pretty moving and in character for both of them.

this was sweet. i do really like seeing these two as friends, it does fit. and whole-heartedly agree with you on having Vanitas as a party member. hopefully, Square will let Vanitas have a happy ending when everything is said and deserves it. hear that Square Enix? read this and throw the fans a bone, why don't ya? :)
