  McCoy Fan chapter 1 . 10/22/2017 First rate h/c and character study of McCoy, Spock and Kirk. Loved their banter. Loved how flawed, irritating, vulnerable, and lovable they all were. Kirk managing to hurt Bones' feelings but not browbeat or manipulate him was one of the things I loved best. I imagine Kirk is one of maybe 3 or 4 people in the universe who could hurt him so easily, especially when he's going above and beyond in his job. All that 24/7 sitting around and hand holding is NOT part of the job. All of Kirk's issues coming out while restrained and in pain was real. Seen that happen IRL several times. Pain exposes you. I could identify with everyone in the story even Spock, though he isn't in the story very much. |

I don't usually ship gay pairings, (mostly cause I pair them all up with other people) but I was thinking: "Totally a couple!" Of course it can be seen as other things as well, but that was how my odd mind saw it. |
