I actually questioned that too, when I wasn't yet into the fandom and just generally pointing out stuff. I later dismissed it as some naming shenanigan by the mangaka that needs no explanation. But I guess it could work like how you said.
Also, I know they take it in stride and everything but when everyone just tells you to shut up whenever you joke (and if more thsn half you say are jokes), it's bound to hurt. And Kiyoshi, Hyuuga and Aida seem closer even if Izuki knew the others first. It may have affected him too, along with the frustration that he may be at the limits of his potential.
Well, anyway, the point of all this rant is that I'm seeing Izuki in a brighter light. Plus, I actually find his jokes funny and clever (usually). XD

I really enjoyed this, and agree with the whole Hawk Eye and Eagle Eye thing... Maybe this means that Izuki will improve his special ability even more in the future ;) At least I hope so, since he's one of my favorite Seirin characters. But, gah... I loved this so much that now I really want an AkashixIzuki pairing fic! Dx

Haha, I could really see that, if that's the case, between his eyes and his appearance. I totally agree with you about the Hawk Eye vs Eagle Eye, I've always found it strange that the Hawk Eye would be superior, given the name...
