The transitions are abrupt I would reccemend tring to connect the scenes with a little transport talk or slme small event happening. It will improve the story for the better. One rule I go with is eavh of my chapters are at least 2k words in length at least and no more than 5k because it will keep the readers attention along with providing a good stopping point |

| Jackalope89 chapter 3 . 1/31/2016 Okay, some advice. It makes it SO much easier to read when dialogue lines for each character are separate. And same goes for keeping one person's dialogue separate from an action that another character does. Otherwise it just looks muddled. For example: Keyes took it and held out his other hand, "Good luck Noble, I hope you find your commander." Six shook his hand, then saluted as Keyes walked back into the dropship. That sort of thing. |
