Hermy365 chapter 4 . 1/28/2019 I like your stories about Hugo very much. I wonder if you will write other stories about this friendship. |
Ultraclosetfan chapter 4 . 10/4/2018 Thanks for writing this, I really enjoyed it. I didn't even realize that the merpeople would be offended by Hugo coming into their village and lake until you mentioned it. It does make that they would view it as their territory. Although didn't some Durmstrang students swim in there during the Gof? I really want to see how their friendship would progress as they get older. I hope you might expand on it in the future. |
hbiweasley chapter 1 . 8/21/2018 I am sorry you had no review for so long. I just wanna say that this is AMAZING. It is so diferent, I never read something like that. Really. I Love the way you writhe Hugo. I Love the merepeople culture. I wish you would continue, I would like so much to see Hermiome reaction and if Hugo Will be able to find a way to be friends with Lacu. Anyway, congatulations on the story. I am reading all of yours and you are a awesome writher. (sorry for my english) |
Kelsey441 chapter 1 . 9/17/2017 Love Hugo. Wishing the story went on after this point, but I understand why it doesn't. |
maritinkerbell chapter 4 . 4/19/2017 Cute story! I enjoyed seeing what Lacu thought about Hugo's (and humans') various differences from the merpeople. |
Guest chapter 4 . 1/4/2017 What a lovely, sweet story! I enjoyed it thoroughly, and appreciate you sticking with the post despite the dearth of reviews. Well done! - a reader who can't be bothered to log in, but is sincere in her praise nonetheless |
Brain Fluff chapter 4 . 6/29/2015 This was such a cute story! I'm kicking myself for not finding it sooner. As always your Hugo is adorable and a ton of fun to read, definitely my favorite interpretation of a nextgen character. This friendship is really just so sweet and innocent and I loved how you developed it. The little details like the exchanging of foods and Hugo's Christmas present were great. I really love your writing in general, the whole story was really lighthearted and fun and I was definitely more than a little sad when the story came to an end. The only thing was I thought Sprout was retired and Neville was the Herbology Professor but obviously that's small coconuts compared to the overall awesomenesss of the rest of the story. If you ever get a little burst of inspiration and decide to follow up with a sequel (maybe with some cameos from Ron/Hermione or even just other Hogwarts students) I would definitely jump at the chance to read it! This really was a delight to read. Thanks! :) |
FrozenForForever chapter 4 . 7/22/2014 Oh, I loved it! Usually I don't go for these kind of stories, so maybe that's why you didn't get many reviews...but way to go! You still wrote it, because you liked it! In my opinion, that always makes the best stories. ) |
Shinan7 chapter 4 . 10/25/2013 This is really awesome! I wish there was more to read, I want to know what happens after. I don't know how more people haven't read this, its really brilliant :) |
TheEvilOctopus chapter 4 . 8/25/2013 I have to say, I really liked this! It was well written, it wasn't a grammar abomination, and the story itself was original and entertaining... Also, you get extra points for knowing your potter-facts xD |
starlightwalking chapter 4 . 8/23/2013 That was cute the whole way through. This is a ridiculous/silly concept, but you pulled it off really well and I love a story that manages to do that. ;D Hugo is really sweet and Lacu is so sincere. I wonder what happens next, and if you continued this story, that would be great, but no pressure. XD |
VanillaSnitch chapter 4 . 8/17/2013 I honestly enjoyed reading this story a lot, and I don't understand why it's unpopular! I really wish you would continue the story, because I am really curious if they can remain friends. Anyway, totally awesome writing. I really loved it! |
Anonymous chapter 4 . 8/10/2013 This story is a really interesting concept. I enjoyed reading it and I love Hugo's character. I noticed it's marked as 'complete' even though Hugo had the idea of re-writing the treaty so he can still visit Lacu. I think there's definitely potential for you to continue this story, and I would definitely read it if you chose to do so. I notice as well that it's not particularly popular, which I think is silly because it's brilliant. I don't recall anything from canon about the first years taking boats at the end of the school year, but I suppose I might not have noticed. The one error I noticed was when I clicked through to your profile to see more of your writing and in one of the descriptions for a different story, you had spelled 'Astoria' as 'Asteria'. I wish I could give more helpful advice for improving on this story, but I was really caught up in how amazing the concept was. |
thedemigodsinthebluepolicebox chapter 4 . 8/8/2013 This is story is unique and special making it even more amazing then it already is. Your writing is excellent and I applaud you on coming up with such a plot. Keep writing my friend! |
