I love stories featuring Tony as a kid and have read a lot of them. Well this one is definitely among the best, sensitive and emotional but not over the top. I liked how you put words on Tony's thoughts and your Gibbs really shows that special thing he has going with kids as seen on the show. We can imagine a future for the both of them, Gibbs being patient and helping Tony through reading and boosting his confidence. Very nice. Thanks.

Gibbs and Tony should try living on the boat at least part time. I live on a boat full time with my family and love it! The gentle rocking, the thrill every time a hurricane hits, it's amazing!

You should make a story out of this and not just a one shot

Wow! I loved this story. I felt so bad for Tony, thinking no one loves him but so glad that Gibbs got through to him. You are a great author and I look forward to anything else you write.

Okay, I always thought NCIS main characters featured as kids in "kid fics" would be silly and vapid, but since it was you writing it, I thought I would give it a shot since I've liked so many of your other stories. The verdict: I was wrong. I found myself crying over Tony's sadness and fear and Gibbs' fear during the search and the end. A really sweet story. Loved it!
