I greatly enjoyed this story, it's like a missing scene but better. I look forward to many more of these. So few do these & having someone of your ability doing one (hopefully more) makes it all the more treasured!

Wonderful one-shot! Very well-written, as usual. I'm never disappointed. Love it when Merlin is so innocent and "helpful". I like his knack for getting himself into tangles and I love it even more when he thinks up wild explanations to justify for his actions. So freakin' cute and lovable.

I like Arthur being fair and therefore, I like how you portray him the best. It's like a nice balance of berating poor Merlin and also showing that he cared about him. Lovely job and do continue to write more! :)

I love these little expansions of the original episodes - they are so satisfying.

This was full of different emotions; there was defiantly a sense of fun throughout, at the predicaments Merlin gets himself in, the great warlock reduced to a drowned rat, a dragon not lifting a claw to help, getting all muddy and bedraggled. Then there was the possibility of danger; would Merlin sink or swim, would he get injured by the undead, or succumb to hypothermia? There was also that hint of sadness and regret over Freya , the insecurity of questioning if his presence would even be missed? Coupled with the final decision to push that all down in order to be there for his king and bolster his confidence.

In the same way a skilled artist can express images with a few well placed strokes you have nailed the characters and situation with your use of words.

I enjoyed this very much and hope you will do more of these!

You have an amazing way to always keep all characters and situations,so in canon,that i am speechless!
That includes this story too!I don t know when you wrote this fic,now or then,but season 3 final episodes and the whole season 4,are my favourite ones and as always,you captured that missing scene from 3-13,brilliantly well!
