How can a character spill so much venom and still be likeable? I'm laughing so hard at Gemma's dry humor, thank you for making my day~ after the huge disapointment tvd turned out to be and then having to face the same fate with the originals, me needs of good fanfictions got deepened :)

Funny thing is.. I have a friend with whom I share a friendship similar to Demma, lolz, but he's not even remotely interested in lady parts, so the flirting is platonic at best, trying to cockblock the other at worst... I think if we weren't immune to our own poison, we'd have choked to death a long time ago, so another Huge thank you for making me feel warm and nostalgic~ if his english was a bit better I'd send him this way, alas, the language barrier strikes again. Who doesn't have a friend who brings the worst in them?

(those fancy people with psychology diplomas were right about that projecting stuff)

Apparently I was so excited and giddy that I developed an inability to complete sentences and check for any mistypes- for instance, the 3 in the name box, which means absolutely nothing and yet will forever remain; also, I needed to fix this sentence:

"There are no words that can accurately convey how happy I am right now; I can only say that I'm no longer heartbroken..."

Anyway, sorry again for possibly bothering you, but it would've bothered me if I didn't try to fix the above :P

There are no words that can accurately convey how happy right now, only to say that I'm no longer heartbroken- yes, still the same reviewer as before, and I want to say now that I'm sorry if I'm bothering you with all of my semi-coherent ramblings and can only promise that I don't mean to come off as obsessive as I may sound. But yeah, still absolutely giddy, and this latest chapter has been the most beautiful reminder of how much I love the way you write Gemma and Damon- separately, together, either way your author's note was right in saying that they're a favorite duo.

Also very much enjoyed Gemma's all-around Gemma-ness in this chapter: her meh feelings in saving Elena, her logic in the fact that keeping Jenna in the dark probably isn't the smartest thing to do, her snarking off at Stefan, her bitchy nonchalant behavior, just everything in this chapter (hell, everything in this whole story).

As for what I'm hoping to see in future chapters... well, my answer is obvious in that it's more Damon and Gemma being together and awesome (and awesome together); otherwise, I'm liking how things are going so far.

I'm the same "Heartbroken" reviewer of "Praying to the Moon", and once again I'm feeling far too many emotions from something you have written. Let me start off by saying that it's been years since I've read the Gemma Doyle trilogy, and while a great deal of it's faded from memory, the automatic fondness I had (have) for it lives on. "That Wicked and Needy Type of Love" has only strengthened how much I adore[d] the books. Honestly, I feel a little bit ridiculous because of how much I loved this and because of how inadequate my words seem in conveying that. So, again, thank you so much for writing this story, and know that, once again, this reader truly appreciates the time and effort it must have taken to write it.

Awesome story so far I'm loving all that's going on and the chemistry between characters as well as the differences in plot and how an outsiders view point is useful here is amazing.
