I have to admit I'm not usually interested in stories with Bluestreak as one of the main characters (I'm more of a Decepticon fan), but I've always thought of Bluestreak and Prowl's relationship as a father-son kind. So, when I read the summary, I thought this would be a silly short 'cute' ficlet. To be sincere, I'm not really sure why I chose to read it. I can only say I'm glad I did.

Bluestreak was the sole survivor of a massacre, and it seems not a lot of people realize that, nor the issues he had to go through, and, consequently, what the rest of Autobots had to deal with. You've not only addressed them, but have done so in such a manner that I believe this should be cannon.

Congratulations and my most sincere gratitude for sharing this with us. I'm really glad I decided to lose some time reading 'a cute silly ficlet', because this was certainly worth it.

P.S.: Loved the 'Fun Fact'. I hope your dad enjoyed it, 'cause it sounds like fun :D

Wow, what a fantastic fic. I always love the relationship between Bluestreak and Prowl, and you captured it so wonderfully.

The flashbacks were nice, giving just enough detail without getting mired, and Prowl's growing confusion as the day developed was lovely.

I *do* wonder who forged OP's signature on those datapads. Prime himself didn't seem to know (not that Prowl noticed). I'm thinking it was Jazz ;)

I also like the implication that the twins are giving Prowl a break because they see him as a kind of father figure themselves. The other interpretation is that Blue asked them to be nice for his sake, but I prefer the first option :)

And wow, did everyone work fast! Particularly whoever sourced those acid rifle cartridges!

This is one of the sweetest, most touching things I've ever read! And it was fabulously written! In a way, Prowl and Bluestreak remind me of Marshall Pentecost and Mako Mori from Pacific Rim.
