Man, I wish this was longer! It was really good!

This is great! I loved the scene with Pike at the end. It’s a long shot, but if you ever decide to continue this I think a bio-bed heart to heart between Kirk & Pike would be adorable. Or Spock explaining what happened whilst Kirk still had the breathing tube and can’t sorak, so can’t defend himself. That would be fun to read. Anyway, great job!

Random guy you don't recognize walks into Sickbay and says: "I need to see bones." Yep, definitely sounds symptomatic of a brain problem. Jim's lucky that he still had the presence of mind to explain the nickname. Thanks for the laugh! Somebody should do a story about a misunderstanding based on the nickname, maybe Jim creeps out somebody on a First Contact or negotiation mission, and inadvertently lets them think either that he's morbid (spends time with dead bones) or that his ship's physician is a walking skeleton.

Poor Bones - the only thing harder than putting Jim and Spock back together would be putting Jim, Spock, and Pike back together.

Great story, it is a shame that you have not written a second chapter.

This would have been even better if u had added another chapter looking at pike's reaction to it all and what happens till they get back to earth - good story however!

I feel like I want to read the other chapters that I was sure to follow, only they are invisible. ;(

Haha, yes a very long trip indeed. I like this, it's a good read. One detail most people don't know is that when you lack oxygen, or have lost a lot of blood, the lip doesn't turn blue, it turns white. I, unfortunately, have experienced both asphyxiation and too much blood loss, and have been told that my lips turn white. Then maybe that's just me...

In any case, thanks for writing this and sharing it with us.
