I really enjoyed reading this story. I've read it twice now and its actually what's gotten me interested in the games. I don't suppose you'd be willing to continue writing it?

love the story. it's very different from most HP stories as it ignores much of the terrible canon. Love that decision right there. Plus Harry is travelling around with his saving people thing outside of the story. Which makes it much more original and interesting to read

The reason he did all this is because he wants to expand his empire. He was a greedy pig. orlais was the second most evil country after planned all this at the time of the second blight. People were too busy fighting darkspawn and Archdemon Zazikel. how they are stupid

Emperor Drakkon invented The Chantry, conveniently filled with expansionist teachings, as an excuse to conquer and convert neighboring kingdoms; particularly Nevarra and the Dales. Eventually it became clear to everyone that Orlais was expanding out of greed rather than faith, though most of Southern Thedas are still ardent Chantry worshipers who enthusiastically preach its expansionist ideals; even people Orlais conquered fully believe Orlais' borderline propaganda version of the war against the elven Dales.
Dalish elves in particular view the Exalted March of the Dales as this. From the Dalish perspective, Orlais used Chantry "missionaries" as a front to try to undermine their autonomy, and when the missionaries were kicked out, the fact that Orlais promptly sent in Chevaliers was just Orlais dropping the act. While the Inquisitor can discover in Inquisition that the elven attack on Red Crossing did happen, it was not a heathen attack against the faithful as the Chantry claim, but a tragic case of Poor Communication Kills. Orlais created the Chantry and its Chant of Light ostensibly to praise Andraste and the Maker for freeing them from Tevinter. Said Chant of Light is also filled with expansionist teachings they then used as an excuse to conquer, convert, and forcibly subjugate most of Southern Thedas (particularly the elven kingdom of the Dales) in the name of the Maker and prophetess that freed them. i hate lies

I completely agree with this. I wish I could substitute this opening chapter into every single 'Harry goes to another dimension' fanfic, rather than all the clichéd, diatribe-filled, expositon-heavy, waste-of-time intros that most authors come up with. Regardless of the fact that this fic died, major kudos to you for writing one of the most memorable fanfic intros I've ever read. I hope that real life has treated you well and that you have found other ways to exercise your considerable literary talent. Thanks for the read.

It's really too bad this has remained unfinished. The first 5 chapters were good and I really wanted to see where you took this and what happened to Warden asshat.

Awesome story. Its a shame that it looks as dead as disco but I will follow it just in case. Hopefully one day the Maker will provide.
