I just read the whole story and by the end, you made me cry... remind me of my own relationship with my beloved abuela, It's really a lot like santana/alma relationship and I just can't imagine if she ever rejects me, you touch my heart! Amazing writer.

Great chapter! Best one you've written so far. Santana just poorer out all her feelings and bam! She gets nothing. Nothing from Alma in return. Saw that coming. I liked the bullying part as well. Hope to se your updates when I can! Good luck with college traveling. I start school in a week... :(

This chapter was so sad. My heart was breaking when Santana was sobbing outside Alma's door. And all your "THEN" chapters are killing me. It's like Alma forgot everything. She says she hasn't but gosh, how can you be so harsh to someone who clearly meant the world to you? All she wished for was Santana to be happy and healthy, yet she is causing her unhappiness. I just want to give Santana a hug. This story is amazing and I can't wait to read more.

I love the flashbacks, especially this chapter's. It's so sad to think that a family member could disown someone after giving that person years of love. After two chapters I really love this story. This chapter was heartbreaking in that I can feel Santana's pain of her abuela not even wanting to look at her, but also in that Santana used to be Alma's "most precious rose of all." Really beautiful chapter.
