Aw, that was sweet.

The kissing part was a bit odd though. At first I thought the story was about to turn into slash and almost stopped reading. I was glad when it didn't. I think it takes far more profound a love for two people to be as close as James and Sirius when it's purely platonic. When you put it down to sexual attraction, you've lost something. It's a little ironic that people call that "more than friendship". I think it's actually less than the kind of friendship James and Sirius had.
