Guest chapter 1 . 1/19 I hate Marxist dogma. Without compensation, their back s no incentive to work. Without reward, their is no reason to risk/develop. Don't care about money my arse, think for more than myself bleh. It'd make more sense that they'd rebuild from an apocalypse, communities coming together to survive and defend. It might not be currency, but favors/trades etc. would still work as a form of pseudo capitalism, but if the world's wrecked consequences would be dire. People that were unfair would be banished, those that were stealing/leeching/etc. would be executed for risking the communities wurvival. Worst criminals would suffer gruesome demises (rapists executed via colon perforation) as a no tolerance. There is no such thing as a utopian system. Yes, capitalism isn't perfect due to the people within it, but it's better than dystopia/democratic-mob rule/Marxist/socialist/communist/tyrannies/etc. It'd be better if people were actually held accountable. |
shadow chapter 3 . 8/5/2017 I liked the chapter! |
1529 chapter 3 . 7/22/2016 Honestly, I enjoyed what was written. Way too few stories deal well with the massive shortcomings of Mass Effect 'technology'... at least one reader would enjoy seeing this story continued. |
Axcel chapter 3 . 3/26/2016 Why would you call this super ass-kicker crap? This is an awesome story! I was eagerly awaiting the Batarians receiving Death From Above! |
Axcel chapter 1 . 3/26/2016 By the way, THIS is Mobile Infantry! Hell, yes! Oh, and, canon mass effect military ships use matter-antimatter annihilation engines. Technically, civilian ships can, too, but it is so expensive that they usually stick with fusion torches or even solid-fuel engines. Also, didn't the law against making AI come as a reaction to the Geth? So, the Quarians didn't even break a law even if they DID create AI, which they did not since the Geth were (and still are until the end of ME3), VI. |
Axcel chapter 1 . 3/26/2016 Don't worry about the Rachni and stuff, Shep. The Citadel species don't think like we do. They don't try to understand or find other ways. It is a large part of why we succeed and they fail miserably. As for Suen and hardsuits...well, that is how humans think. We go "battlefield filled with deadly toxins in the air? We'll just wear hazmat suits so we can fight". The aliens go "battlefield filled with deadly toxins in the air? Clearly it is impossible for anyone to fight there." Damn cowards! They give up easily, too, whereas humans just plain DON'T give up at all. Even when we say "I give up" we just try to keep at it with a different approach anyway. |
trongod chapter 3 . 1/17/2015 Gotta say, I have to disagree with the reason you stopped working on this, 'cause it's pretty fracken good. May your Muses smite about the head and shoulders with inspiration that it be continued some time (soon)! |
