Almost 5 years later and I still love it! Beast Boy is the sweetest. It reminds me how my husband planted a dozen sunflowers for me at home. Simple gestures that mean a lot. I hope you are doing well!

Ha! I looked into the title and totally found out you got the name from William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet!

This consisted of much thought. I mean... how do you get an idea so fast? And don't tell me because someone requested for it, I need details. Amazing story. But my curiousity is lingering to the question: what's gonna happen on the date? Is there gonna be a sequel? I 3 all your stories! There simply amazing!

You have now officially blown my mind! First "Last First Date" and now THIS? And I thought your longer stories were amazing! No matter the length, all of your stories take their time and actually develop the plot AND the characters in a very realistic way. And who would have thought that our favorite little changeling could be so thoughtful? Taking months to simply grow a flower so he could plant it in a certain spot? Then luring Raven over and "noticing" the flower really quickly like that? Not to mention the thought he out into the date in Last First Date. Who would have known?

A charming story with the perfect length. Admittedly, some girls might be uncomfortable if some guy had been scheming about them for months. But I think of Raven as someone who feels misunderstood, and has accepted that no one will ever relate to her. So Beastboy's well-researched gesture may be just the kind of thing to get under her skin in a good way.

I liked Beastboy and Raven's interaction after he asked her out. She was very hesitant and seemed to be leaning toward "no", but at the same time, I didn't get a negative or hopeless vibe from your writing during that scene. I wonder if Beastboy realizes just how many points he earned himself with that rose!
