Awe I'm so sad you haven't updated in years. Hiccups backstory was getting really interesting. I loved how you characterized everyone too, it's hard to find fics where they don't make everyone, especially hiccup, weepy and out of character.

Plleeaase continue this story, I already kinda know what will happen but at the same time very deep interested in hiccups' story. And jacks reaction. So plleeaase continue.

*blinks* This story is AWESOME so far...And that only makes me really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really (did I say really already?) worried that you're not going to finish it. I am dying to know what Toothless left to do (do it have something to do with Hiccup's leg? Or the backstory with the Dragons? Or something else equally important?) and just who Hiccup killed (though with the reaction to fire, and the fact that I think it's when he lost his left leg, it has to do with the Green Death? Though I loved that you threw the 'little supper' reference in there-it was one of my favorite things from the first book) So many questions, and I'm hoping against hope that you'll pick this back up again * puppy dog eyes* Pretty please?

I'm loving this story way too much. Hiccup is so damn in character that it's sending me into little fangirling spasms. lol I also love that it wasn't just love at first sight with him and Jack. I like a slow build to a relationship. Makes it seem a lot more real. And don't even get me started on the backstory you're spinning... My gods! It's so freaking perfect! Like, if HTTYD was actually a modern day story, this would be it. Pretty much exactly. I want to see the rest of it so bad! I'll likely be day dreaming about it at every available opportunity in the near future trying to work out in my head how it could possibly go, but I have no doubt that my weak amount of creativity would do it no justice at all. The only proper course of action, then, is to wait for an update from you. I notice it's bee a year since you last updated, but I have a pretty unhealthy level of optimism when it comes to stories I really like. It's kind of unwarranted optimism, but I have it nonetheless. lol So please, don't keep me waiting for too long? At least not a whole 'nother year. If you could just meet that deadline I'd be happy enough. lol ...Best of luck in all that you do!

As a JackRabbit and ToothCup fan this story gives me conflicting emotions!
Hiccup's backstory is reeeally interesting and I wish there were a ToothCup version of it :P

I'm really, REALLY, enjoying this. I'm really loving how Aster is looking out for Hiccup, and that moment between Jack and Hiccup where they were painting each other's nails almost killed me. The back story for Hiccup is amazing so far, and I can't wait to see the rest of what lead him to where he is today. Not to mention, I can't wait for the return of Toothless, and the future HiJack. I'll try to be patient while waiting for the next chapter.

Ohhh no I caught upp and its in the middle of a two part flashbackkk noooo ah suspense! But yeah I am definitely continuing reading this. I love the mirroring of the original movie here and I still love the characterization for all of them throughout the six chapters so far. I can't wait for next chapter aah!

I know this is chapter one, but I wanted to say that i love how the story is put together so far- like, how each character is transferred from the originals to their new roles. Its terribly fitting to have the Guardians actually working at a children's center and I'm surprised it hasn't been done! Its clever. Also your characterization for well, I was gonna say Hiccup but really for everyone, is really spot-on. I'm definitely gonna keep reading!
