hey, just read this story today and noticed you haven't updated for a while. I hope you keep going, I'm really enjoying it :)

I think out of all the reactions to arthur finding out about Merlin's magic, be t fanfiction or the show, i think you wrote it the best. It's actually positive and not completely full of angt, and it's realistic. I really enjoyed this! Can't wait for the next chapter!

You did a pretty good job with describing what happened, but you completely left out something that can be an extreme danger on it's own: the air escaping the lung. As a scuba diver (and as someone who has suffered from pnemonia) i can say that lung problems can pose many risks. The air that is escaping; where is it going? If even a few microscopic bubbles made it into his bloodstream, Merlins heart would be unable to pump blood around the bubbles and he would die from lack of circulation. This is normally only a problem with nitrogen bubbles from diving, and it's commonly called the bends. As for causing an infection, that's pretty accurate. Pnemonia sucks, and even now people die from it.
So there's my facts of the day. Great job so far!

Arthur, you really need to see past the lies that Uther has caused you to believe. Merlin is your FRIEND! Gah, I always hate those times when Arthur suddenly doesn't want anything to do with Merlin just because he has magic, as realistic as they may be. He should see past that. For, surely, someone like Merlin couldn't possibly be evil. Great chapter. Poor Merlin. Keep up the great work!
