this sucks as you never finish a story.

There is nothing and I mean nothing more irritating than someone writing a story that should be 15 or 16 chapters and ending it in one with a open ending.

As long as you were going to go with "you and Hermione were close as babies", why not just give Harry a magical Unicorn that can kill Voldemort with his horn? Its a plotline that's pretty much on par with that particular "twist".

This would make an awesome start to one hell of a Ron bashing fic. You have laid some great groundwork for something that could be epic. I wouldn't give up on this idea and if you ever got bogged down with one of your other projects use it to rejuvenate your imagination. I mean from here you could have Harry go back to just about any time; from the time to save James and Lily, or before first year, to third year to free Sirius, or fourth year to make up for the whole Tri-Wiz and Yule Ball screw up. You could also have him be much more wary of Ron and figure out when he turned Death Nibbler. From there you could either expose the red headed git or let him hang himself. But it does have potential form more and I know others would say the same.

The one thing I don't like about your stories is that you never finish a story. Your first story was a beginning of a story that had no finish. Even in this one which I understand you leave the decision to the reader. I really like your stories except for the fact that they never finish. There is never a conclusion that leaves the reader satisfied that everything is resolved and there is a good chance of "Happily Ever After". I guess I will just have to avoid your stories. I have other authors that I really enjoy. You are a good writer. I hope things go well for you. pms

He could return to the time to the beginning of his forth year since that is when things start to take off. Harry could try and find a way to change the bones of Riddle's father's grave to screw with the ritual and give him enough chance to knock Pettigrew out and take him back to Hogwarts to clear Sirius's name . Get in a relationship with Hermione at the start since Ron's an asshole and a great way to split off from him when he leaves Harry and Hermione when Harry is selected as Champion.
Well that's my thoughts on that anyway, but I'll forward to see what comes of this.
