This is a really late review, but this oneshot is so cute! Aang is so cute! Excuse me while I squeal like an excited little girl. Hahah.

Oh dear Koh, that is adorable. I love that Katara is aware of her excessive PDA and still doesn't seem able to stop herself. She had to be aware that she was playing mind games on that poor boy, even if she didn't mean to. Her inability to properly explain herself to Aang is really cute, too. I've read a few fics similar to this, but you explaining Katara's headspace at this point in the story really helps. Until EIP and Katara's explicit statement that she wanted to put their romance on hold until the war was over, I was really frustrated trying to figure out what had happened between them. The first time I watched it I honestly thought I had missed an episode.

There are hearts in my eyes from all the fluff, aw! Such an enjoyable oneshot.

Things I especially liked:
-The dramatic irony of Katara thinking it will all be over after the invasion.
-Aang reminiscing about a friendlier Fire Nation. (Part of your Fireflight headcanon?)
-"You still are a kid." I may or may not have squeed a little at this.
-The kiss! I honestly wasn't expecting her to do that.
-The tiny bit of aangst. What can I say, I really like Aang like this.
-Katara's imaginary perfect confession.

All in all a very cute fic, it definitely brought a dopey smile to my face. :)

Awww, this was really sweet!

I love this explanation for Katara's grabby hands all over Season 5 (and Aang). I'm reminded of that little smug smirk she has when holding Aang during that escape from Combustion Man, like she's going 'we may just be escaping from a crazy assassin with mind-splodey powers but I GOT MAH AANG IN MY HANDS, YESSSSSSS'.

That brief mention about the Fire Nation's complicated astrology, and how friendly Aang remembered them being; that got me right in the heart-guts.

This was a really sweet story, illustrating the fact that Aang is just way too young for all this. But he's got Katara so it's okay some times.

This was adorable... And definitely worth the wait! My favorite line was at the end, "Katara could practically hear how hard he was smiling."
I loved this a lot and I can't wait for the rest of your Kataang week writing :)
