Unbelievably good writing. This story had me totally wrapped. You writing is incredible, thank you so much for this gem!

Holy cow! This fic was amazing. It felt almost dystopia, but maybe more alt. Henry had actual depth to him and was learning about life in the gray. Regina's still struggling with her urges, but she's so much more open and balanced, and by the end, we see so much of her metamorphosis in how she handles Ava and the Tillermans. Even Emma is well-explored with her deeply hidden inadequacies and fears. And yet, she's so strong, like she's the rock of this family and she holds all the pieces together (in ways that Henry never could). And then there's the was that Swan Queen developed as easy and naturally as breathing. This fic was dark and intense, and filled with passion and so much emotion, and odd places for humor, that I found myself re-reading several innocuous sections to only later realize more meaning to them- in the grander scheme.

This fic was well thought out and such a great surprise. Thanks for sharing this.

I don't even know how to begin... it's so different to any other story and I'm so in love with it for the same reason! Your writing is different; stronger, deeper, beautiful. It was like reading a long, long poem, a poem I'm stunned by.
I suffered a lot, I almost cried with the pain I was reading! Poor and little Henry... I loved how this story was swanqueen, but it was never the main theme, quite the opposite! And no one was wondering about them, it just happened, and then it was Henry, so brave and caring for his mom.
I'm almost in shock, with no words for describe how I feel about your perfect fic. Thank you so much for sharing! And even if it was many years ago that you wrote it, I still hope you can read my review, and know that after all this time you still have a huge impact, at least in me.

the utterly married way they were in the meeting was amazing

I am stunned by your story. Some times I get lost. You clearly making the reader learn what happened at the same time as the characters, so, obviously, sometimes I do not understand what is happening, but at the same time you are making the journey really enjoyable. congratulations, Emma and Regina relationship is amazingly well done in a slow burn kind of way that makes it more real in my point of view, and I love how Henry is damaged. I know OUAT is a family show, but if it was real life, all of them should have some psicological problems, even the "inocent" characters like Henry. Nobody has to fight evil in daily basics and be happy next day without any problems. And I agree with you, I love Regina, but the show is clearly in her favour, otherwise Tamara and Greg would have a better story line.

I quite liked this. The writing was very tight and conveyed emotions quite well. Unfortunately, I haven't really seen the source material yet, and all my knowledge about the characters and setting comes from fanfics but from what I can tell, you've done all of them justice.
