This just won't leave my mind. I love it so much. Not normally a fan of really dark stuff but this is amazing. He's a bad person, he's lived 1000 years, what's new for him? Not much. He can't help sabotaging himself. She's just caught in his destructive wake. And yet...he can't forget her. Not happy. Not fluffy. Just perfect. Thank you!

Hi there, you lovely person, you! Welcome back to the Klaroline FF filter and gods, what an amazing gift you brought for us.

Clearly you haven't lost your touch with the 'dark' genre - this story sent shivers down my spine as I was reading it. Granted it's entirely different from how most people would interpret the 'I intend to be your last line', but given Klaus' volatile and selfish and almost maniacal personality (even when Caroline has tempered it to an extent), I somehow find very much in character. There is a beauty in morbidity that I believe only you know how to draw out in the most exhilarating way. :)

If I may just say this, though... I hope things get better for you soon. On a personal level of course I don't want my friends to be having rough times, and I'm here for you if there's any way you might need me. On the fangirling level, ugh, I feel like the Klaroline filter needs love and happiness right now more than ever. :)

This is really good and in some twisted way, that's excatly how I would see their relationship.
Klaus likes a challenge and Caroline is the perfect prey for that and when he has her then, he'll probably get to be bored later on.

BUT on the other hand does he like her because she is loyal and honest and isn't afraid to show him how she feels.

No matter what, great oneshot!
