A very interesting story and I can almost see it happening in the anime/manga. While Levi may appear cold on the surface, you can still see that he truly cares for all his subordinates, even Eren and Mikasa. Levi is also one of the few people who value and appreciate Eren as a human, not just a weapon to be used.
