This is a great take on Harry (or Hadrian in this case) being sorted into Slytherin. I must say I love the idea but people can be so unoriginal they are painful to read, I am glad yours isn't like that. Oh and on a last note, the chapter is a lot easier to read and fallow when done how the last is.

I love this story! I understand what you mean about hitting a wall sometimes though. It may be helpful to look back at the book to help bring things together. You've done a wonderful job so far though.

I just found your story and I'm enjoying it a lot. I hope you continue writing this as i would like to read more of it . I'm not a demanding person. I can understand why it will take longer for chapters to come out and I'm willing to wait for the next one . Please don't give up on writing this.

Dude, seriously... keep writing this. I know it's got to be difficult, writing with such long chapters in a story so firmly AU, where you need to remake the plot your way, but don't stop. This is really good. Even if you need to lighten the load by writing smaller chapters, I know that I'd like to see more of this more often. However, that's just me, and I'm impatient. If you need to take the time to keep the quality high, please ignore my poorly-informed pleas above. Good luck, and happy FanFic-ing!

Well, here goes-

In general, I don't read many FFs, I prefer the writing side, despite a bit of a lack in talent. Regardless, when I saw your story's summary, I had to give it a go.
I just read the first Harry Potter for the first time last week, (DON'T CRUCIFY ME FANGIRLS!) and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I'm already looking forward to your take on the story.

I haven't read your other chapters yet, but I intend to, so forgive me if my suggestion is out of date, but I believe that there should be a confrontation between Harry and Dumbledore, where Harry essentially rebukes Dumbledore for his decision to leave him with the Durseleys, which literally made his life a living hell for at least 9 years.

Also, seeing as Snape is the potions master and Harry seems to have an affinity for plants, I'm assuming that he'll be good at potions. I'd love to see him show Hermione that she isn't so perfect by beating her in potions grades.

Finally, while reading the book, I couldn't help but love Hagrid as a character. I truly hope that Harry can still be friendly with him, though I suspect that Hagrid won't be AS trusting with Harry, as he will be a Slytherin. However, seeing as he loved Harry's parents so dearly, I think he'd give Harry a chance or two.

That's all I've got. Looking forward to the rest. As of yet, I have no criticisms, but I promise you two things... if something bugs me, I'll tell you, and if I do, it won't be a flame.

Before I read this chapter I reread your last one and I can only say:
I am so glad you changed the spacing. Didn't notice the first time round how tiering that was to read even if the content was good. (Pherhaps that was why I didn't notice...)
So on to the new chapter:

While the fact that Hadrian went to Slytherin wasn't very surprising his conversation with the Sorting Hat was absolutely hillarious. I was still laughing when Hadrian reached the Slytherin table.
I think it's really great that you are not making Snape out to be perfect and forgetting all about his grudge, but I can totally imagine Hadrian going to Slytherin would give him a pause. I hate stories where Snape likes Harry all of a sudden unless there is a very, very good reason for it.
I'm really looking forward to how people in general will react to Kegen. Blaises reaction is a bit on the extreme side but I am sure you have a good reason for that so I'm looking forward to finding out what it is.
