Um, yeah, I'm totally going to go with 'Sherlock is a hyper-active destructive puppy' here. Come on, how he looks at John sometimes, it's like "Can I? Can I please? Please? Walk!" Or some random thought like that. My musings aside, great little story here, certainly made me laugh!

I wrote about this idea too, only it's after His Last Vow that John realizes the truth. In some ways, Sherlock really is more the pet in their relationship.
