I'm literally so pleased, your writing is so stunning and the characterization is so excellent - can't wait to see if Alistair is related to who I think he is. I've been thinking about these exquisite lines all day and telling my friends how much I was struck by them:

"He glanced toward her, suddenly silent as if the words were caught at the back of his throat like a frayed scarf upon a doorway's splintered frame. And then they jerked free, unraveling like loose threads that Eliante could only gather in her hands and hope to hold the weave together."

If you write outside of your excellent jaw-droppingly long fanfics I'd love to read your other publications too. God bless.

Enjoyed the understanding developing between Eliante and Alistair, but still sad for Nathaniel, alto' Malcolm had some good points. Always happy to see a posting notice pop up in my email.

I must say that this is an impressive piece of work. Your changes to cannon were very creative. My main problem with the story was with the characters themselves. Everyone seems to be so immature and emotional. There isn't a single character here that I can point to and say "that person has their stuff together." There is no one that I am rooting for. I found everyone at various degrees of annoying.

Good luck with the remainder of the story. I won't be reading any more of this.

I have been STUCK to this piece for the past three days in a row. This is so delicately and beautifully crafted and I can't imagine my luck for having stumble on it so late into the story (chapter 83). Normally I find it very difficult to like an original character, but your melding of this story to your characters was so believable. The contrast between Fergus and Eliante, Nathaniel and Delilah (the latter is by far my favorite character in the entire series), the characterization of Leliana and Teagan and the fleshing out of the family backgrounds, the way that side characters are introduced and discussed in completely believable ways that are so well fleshed out and so far beyond the game and yet so true to it - loved it. Can't wait for this to wrap up.
