Great job on this! I love how you described the flights there and back, how it seems so empty and timeless and yet time goes on. That's how I think being out there in a spaceship would feel - like you're just /being/ instead of trying to /do/ something. Although honestly, I get bored on /12 hour/ car rides - I don't think I would make a six day round trip. ;-P

I love the little details, like how Tony didn't stay in the Howard-bought apartment and how "sassy" Jarvis is. :))) And the trust between the two friends is almost palpable. Friendship is complicated and we'll never understand it, but stories like these come a long way in unraveling a little of the mystery. :)
