I really liked this! I like that you took a different approach to Khan's place in the world: so many others portray him as the wanted criminal he was in Into Darkness, but you've skipped that part and slapped a crown on his head essentially. It's refreshing to see something different every once in a while. I'm interested to see how you continue this, and about the person in the other room.
