One of the best TF2 fanfics I've read. I love the entire thing, start to end. You are really good at writing. Heck, you could publish this as a novel.

For once, a TF2 fanfic has a satisfactory, heartwarming ending. Even though I usually pick at the tiniest typos, I can't say I found a single thing I disliked here. Well done.

Officer Delta was Pyramid Head?! Oh dear I love you. And this fic. I may need to read it all over again. Next week. Got a test this week. Sorry for focusing so much on the Pyro bits, but a favourite class is a favourite class. There's so many good things about this fic that I have to be a bit restrictive or I'll be typing praise all afternoon.

I get this very strong feeling that the town Pyro had stayed in was something part of another story. Is it a reference to a game? It's just that it feels like something just out of my grasp and I'm severely disappointed in previous comments for not revealing what it is. Also, "chronologically impossible"?

First, how DARE YOU! You made my laugh, smile, worry, cry and everything AUGH! It's embarrassing _ I have a jabillion fan art scenes already running through my head. My fingers are itching to draw them all.
Secondly, thank you for writing out this piece. If I didn't already love the mercs dearly, this would've converted me. So now I love them the dearlierest I physically ever could.
Third, I'm quite curious about The Administrator as well but perhaps it was your intention to leave that a mystery to quaintly end the story and give a small inkling of hope to the reader that the mercs' story is not quite finished.

Also, pshaw to canon. THIS IS AMAZING! Your writing is amazing, the use of metaphors, the references, the ending etc. it's just awesome. If I could point something out though, there were times when the pacing was a little fast (well, perhaps just one: when Engineer was caught by Grey and he goes into his thoughts; the descriptive nature was fine but it was so sudden like Grey was talking about the schematics, the new locations etc. but then Engineer suddenly goes into his thoughts about what his life meant. Perhaps it's my preference because when I write, other people have reviewed it and have said my pacing is slow, haha, but just a heads up :) ).

Haha, sorry for sounding like some high school fan girl (truth be told I'm 22 and about to enter post-grad) but I really appreciate well-written stories like these and you've got talent. I'll be sure to check out your other stories.

I finally got around to finishing this and man, am I glad I did. Loved it! 3

Truly this story was one I enjoyed to the fullest extent. The characters seemed to me very similar to the original TF2 but with a uniqueness to them. Though the only thing I hadn't understood was Officer Delta and his role with the Pyro. I couldn't tell if he was real or imaginary. Also if he was used for symbolic reasons. Other than I think I understood everything else clearly.
