"my mate" huh? wouldn't it be Intended? I'm lost

The only confusion I have about this whole story is that Vulcans are touch telepaths. It seems like that huge fact keeps getting bypassed again and again. It could have brought on a whole nother element to their relationship. Sad that it was completely looked over

I know this is fanfiction and I shouldn't point this out but... when Dr. McCoy commented on Hermione's temporary living arrangement, I was a bit surprised that he knows pon farr.

Like... Aren't Vulcans very private to reveal such sensitive information? And McCoy being a doctor and CMO at that, I still doubt if any Vulcan refugees he assisted would mention this for him to be privy with this kind of information. And if this is set on reboot, the chances of a single crew (even Uhura) being privy with this kind of Vulcan phenomenon is nil unless ofcourse someone ask Spock (and any Vulcan for that matter) directly about their sex life. Or if he is unfortunately suffering from the symptoms which would force him to reveal about it and even his engagement to T'Pring (which I assumed has perished on the planet in this fanfic version of events).

But that is me. :)

Overall, err...I can't tell but I finish reading this story first.

Interesting story so far. Where is Nyota? I assume she's not in a relationship with Spock because she didn't intercept him at the turbolift when he was going down to Vulcan like she did in canon. Hopefully the answers can be found in the story. :)

This is such an amazing story though! I love it soooo much (even if a lot of Hermione's decisions have made me want to wack her upside the head). And now they're officially married! It was perfect! I want to keep reading...but I don't want the story to end! Ah, to read or not to read...these are the questions that haunt me.

This was so good, I had to read it all in one go! You did a pretty good job with melding everything today, though I am not sure that Uhura would behave like that in either timeline.
