Ok, first off: absolutely loved this story! (DAMN YOU MORIARTY AND YOUR WELL-TIMED SCHEMES!) I thought it was well written, the attitudes, tones, and moods/emotions expressed were clear and beautifully executed! I'm a huge SpockXKirk fan, so that implied smut was perfect! I'm glad that this story didn't have a sugar-coated happy ending and stayed with the plot line of "Sherlock" when the setting was London - it made reading this THAT much better! Anyway, bottom line: one of the best crossover stories I've read in a LONG time! :D

Wow... just... wow! I'd wished for a happy end for Sherlock... after all he's been through, but still, a great story, very well written and very close to the series' characters. Thank you

I think I just died a little. This was brilliantly written, don't get me wrong, but really - ouch. My heart. You can have your knife back.

I think one of the best things about an author is when they can write to make the audience sympathize with the characters, even love them a little. You've certainly got a knack for that. That would be WHY it hurts, by the way - because it was so well done, we reach the end and a die a little with John and then again with the shock of Sherlock's return to his time. Everyone loves a happy ending, but a tragedy has so much impact to it if it's done right. Congratulations, this is a wonderful example of doing it right.

Please keep writing! I look forward to reading more of your work - even the tragedies. Beautifully done.

Thanks for your steadfast work with this fic, I really enjoyed getting into it and seeing all the twists and turns. My heart still feels retched for the John lost on the Starship, and for Sherlock who became the bigger man and tried to move on despite the loss.

I'm glad you didn't hate on Mary. Too many Johlock fans take the easy way out and just hate the character, but you made sure we couldn't do that- that we saw her good character for what it was and if we chose to hate her, its reflected darkly on us, not her.

Poor Sherlock...put this makes sense. its probably impossible to go back to your own timeline, UNLESS you have a tardis lol
Thats why I never understood Star Trek into darkness from older spocks words: different timeline/different actions, causing different events to take place...so how could he paint Khan as evil, when Khan basically did NOTHING to him?
Khan from his timeline did yeah, but from the other timeline...Khan was a victim and he basically took advantage of the situation, and got revenge on a man for crime he himself didn't even commit -.-

So if we never see kirk and the others again, I wont be surprised. It makes more sense if we didn't.
If, and a big IF you go through with the Sherlock series events...you could still give her characters original background (since Sherlock has appeared after the wedding by the looks of it) and if Sherlock simply can't be bothered to be a detective...can't say that I blame him.
Then again, like I said: different timeline. Characters could be completely different :p

This was SO good! I just stumbled upon it today and couldn't stop reading until I reached the end! I could go on and on about all the things I liked about it but I could probably make an entire book of that! I will say that I find that the ending gave me a strange sort of bittersweet feeling and I really do wish the Sherlock/John thing could have worked but I can't complain; stories can't all have perfect "happily ever after" endings. I think that that particular fact only added to this story. I'm a little sad that it's over but, again, extremely well done and an extremely delightful read. Thank you for this! .
