I love that the set pieces and changes you've made are beginning to shape a radically different LOGH story. I've always felt the lack of talent on the FPA side was jarring in the anime and novels; having Greenhill and a more competent, Rebello, plus the fleet commanders who made it out of Dionysus definitely evens the odds for the republicans. You started off this story by stepping a few degrees in a different direction than canon, and the path we're taking is already so clearly divergent and well reasoned that it can stand on its own.

If you had a Patreon or a Venmo I could throw money at to help you focus on this fanfic, I'd be all in. Please, do continue, and know that even if it takes decades you've got readers willing to wait to see how YOUR reimagining of LOGH will end.

oh my god! just yesterday i was thinking: "man, it's been a while since i read LOGH fanfic" and started checking out various ff archives to see if there was anything interesting new (i was disappointed) but today i woke up and you updated! i was *delighted* to say the least!
and what a chapter it was! the anticipation had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire chapter, you left us with a few cliffhangers but i am not even mad, i'm so excited to see where this goes!

I love all the side character POVs, especially Magdalena which gives us a glimpse into the mind of a moderate leaning noble—the dreaded Republicanism lmao. I adore Bagdash and all the espionage happening in the background. Oberstein silently suffering while Reinhard and Kircheis make eyes at each other’s is hilarious.

Lastly, I just wanna say that you’ve really fleshed out the world of LOGH gorgeously. The fake history tidbits, the sheer detail of it all—*chef’s kiss*.

You're back! I'm really glad that you're continuing this story. I first got into Legend of Galactic Heroes after watching 2018 anime and I really loved it. After scouring the Fanfic, this story is by far the best story out there. Now I'll have to start from chapter 1 just to refresh my memories.

Some stories you adore so much, you simply cannot bear to strike it from your followed list, even if it seems all but abandoned.

This gem is definitely one of them; good things do indeed come to those who wait. So good to have you back!

You still manage to really remain true to the characters we all know and love while trekking ahead in the AU, and it's really satisfying my itch for nore LoGH. Immediately stopped anything i was doing to read this, I'd been hoping so long for an update. Since i found story 2 years ago I can genuinely say I have re-read it 20 times. Thank you so much you writing is amazing. This chapter was quite an enjoyable read as well.

This is the best fanfic I have ever read.
Hands down.
The detail in this is astonishing and I cannot help but deeply admire the time that you put into this work. The patience this must have taken. All those characters and plotlines that must be held in character and in cohesion. I'm totally rambling here, but that's because holy shit, this is so good I have no idea what else to say.
If you choose to continue this, great!
If not, also okay. This'll still be my favourite.
Just because of the atmosphere you captured so well, the consistent characters that stayed true to themselves, the political intrigue. The sheer amount of facts and background packed into this.
Truly. This is a great work and no matter if it'll me continued or not, I'll be coming back to it again and again.

I really hope you’ll continues this story, the amount of background and details you’ve added to the LOGH universe is amazing. And all your OCs are on point, believable characters too. I’m looking forward to finding out what the shadowy cancer in the FPA is. I’ve got to add that I love all your Oberstein POV chapters; he’s such an unrepentant amoral character but from reading this, you can understand his (extremely messed up) point of view. Thank you for writing this!
