I really enjoyed this little one-shot. While I love the blossoming relationship between Hope & Maura, I'd never really given much thought to how Hope and Constance might bond over their shared love of their daughter. Nicely done!

This was really great. I wish SO hard that Hope would have reacted like this with Maura. I believe they could have such an amazing relationship...but the writers/producers of the show seem dead-set on making Hope and Cailin bitches in Maura's life. At least Cailin finally came around, though I don't believe we the audience will ever truly forgive her, for saying something as horrible as, "I don't want any part of you living in me" to Maura. That was just...heartbreaking and *totally* unnecessary for her to have done. I really hope that Hope will eventually come around like Cailin did.
Thanks for writing and sharing this fic. We don't have nearly enough that touch upon Maura's relationship with her newly-discovered family :)
