This fanfic is so awesome. At first I thought the promise would be like first date or something. But marriage? Amazing. And the reason Shikamaru was this busy, oh my god. He can be romantic too even though he finds it troublesome.

I read One Year and was instantly captivated. I was surprised when you mentioned it was your first. You are a great writer. The plot for this one is interesting, hope you'll make something longer out of this, like One Year. I find you stories has a certain warmth in them. It showed a growth between two people. Living a lie is great but I was too depress, you made me understand why they can't be together but I still favour this kind. I just love ShikaTema. I really hope you will continue writing ShikaTema fanfic. 4 years is a long time but who knows.

I think it was a great idea to have Shikamaru propose to Temari before they went to war.

The way you described Shikamaru moving up ranks and working so hard to make the council agree to the marriage was great.

I'm sure many ShikaTema shippers would love to see something along these lines happen. Love the way her brothers are so supportive, and the siblings' close relationship. Though the promise was what I'd expected, I wasn't disappointed. An apt take on the dynamics of the relationship between Shikamaru and Temari. Was amused with Temari's bid to salvage her reputation by insisting on an official story, though really, she'll be fooling no one though Shikamaru will certainly yield to her on this. It's great that Temari lowered her pride, though uncharacteristic of her, because Shikamaru surely deserves at least that much from her. Nice work with this fic!
