What an exceptionally tender moment between two tough people. You wrote so perfectly that Icould picture the actors delivering your lines. Beautifully written.

Thought I'd review this here, too: I love Giva/Zibbs and I can totally see, and kind of wish it she had, Ziva leaving NCIS because she knows she can't get what she needs from Gibbs, but she won't let herself settle, either. I thought Gibbs' regret that he couldn't love Ziva like she wanted or needed was so IC, and Ziva's explanation of her feelings to Gibbs, and how he went from dad to lover, was perfect. I also thought the title and all it stands for and means was a great touch, and I like to think Ziva comes back, after having a whole bunch of amazing adventures with Monique.

The little hints of Kibbs, and Ziva realizing she maybe had more in common with Kate than she knew were great, and I loved the "tell them I love them." "They- We know", slip. It actually makes more sense to me for Gibbs to be Ziva's final visit at NCIS than Tony, because he started her on this whole journey, really. Only fitting he should be there at the end. Great job, Sarah! :)

I love how you write. I didn't actually like the idea of Zibbs as something more than a father-daughter bound. But this, this made it so believable, that I found myself loving it.

Ok, you made me cry, not that it's hard today for some reason, but you got to me! Liked it a lot!

Well I find this surprisingly relevant, considering current happenings. Loved it all, even though I'm not one for Ziva/Gibbs (romantically) myself. Although I have to admit, the first few NCIS episodes I glimpsed, I remember asking my mom "So, does Ziva have the hots for Gibbs?" After watching I changed my mind, but there's that initial spark... :)

I think the idea of her joining Monique is a pleasant one. Considering there are a few rumors that CBS knew since the middle of season 10 Cote de Pablo would be leaving, it's possible they even set that idea up.
