You are an extremely great writer and I loved the story. It gave the perfect amount of details and you portrayed Johnny and Baby very well. I always imagined their kids being dancers, and who would've thought their daughter would have met her husband at a dance lesson!

I like this story a lot, and since I'd always wondered what had happend to Johnny and Baby after 1963, I found this was a very sweet and believable future for them.

I'm just wondering-it says the kids are 8 & 12 in 1976, so am I so assume that Baby and Johnny got married right after that and had the first kid, instead of her going to college, and she maybe took a year off and went back and finished it before the second kid was born? Just wondering, lol

I was rediscovering Dirty Dancing after many years which caused me to wonder whatever happened to Baby and Johnny. After looking at a lot of the fan fiction stories, I can see you have a real talent not only for writing but pulling together all the threads in the story.

You know, as much as I love the good stories that have a lot of polish, I think that I like this story all the more because its real in a way you don't really see often enough, even if it is a "fairytale ending".

Almost two years ago I discovered and the wonderful stories it housed. One of them was yours. It left a great impression on me and is one of only a handful that truly moved me. It spoke volumes and was the only one written in exactly the way the movie itself was presented: heartfelt and hard to forget. And I never forgot it, just, didn't review. I saw Dirty Dancing and thought of reading something, then, I remembered this amazing piece from a child's point of view telling of the exact same love that the movie ends with. What can I say? I still love your work as much as I love the movie. Thank you for letting me read something that I've been able to remember for so long and I appologise for the *very* late review.
