Most amazing hellsing fic i read and one of my favorite fics in general...if you like seras,character development,gore and a dark story full of twists and turns...this is the story for you

Liking the parallels with how Integra first met Alucard.

Really enjoying this so far (though I can't help but think that since the commendation was Integra's idea, she really should have foreseen the issue and taken steps to mitigate it).

I clicked on the first fan fiction of hellsing/Seras Victoria and I was not expecting such a good story. I cried at the end but all in all I loved it and I hope that you would do more in the future ~

Tristan's grudge is against an organization that advocated the killing of innocents, he doesn't hold it against all humans. Valerie's grudge is against an entire species instead of against the responsible organization - Nazis. These things are not equivalent.

WTF IS GOING ON!? What happend to the little girl? Did he really just put her in a coma? Ugh this is getting crazy! Why is seras so intent on killing the masters, when she should be focusing on her own survival.

Ugh i dont care about this little girl. So ill just be skipping those chapters.

I'm sad that in the end, even after all that effort and building of her character you killed Newt/Grace. I guess it was inevitable, spending so much time on her would naturally make the readers more attached to her, making her death much more meaningful than some random OC that barely had two lines.
Seras, on the other hand, is still alive and has a new outlook on unlife. Her belief in protecting others is stronger than ever, even as she can safely admit that she will wreak unspeakable horrors should it be necessary. I honestly don't think many could live with such a burden, so even more power to Seras for coming out of all those horrible incidents the way she has.
This has been a great story throughout, even if i, at times, would ask questions like: "Isn't it enough yet? How much more?" I'm glad i took the time to read this story, even if it should receive far more recognition than it already has.

Ok, so i think i enjoy this freer Seras. She is no longer burdened by mortal concerns like morals or law. All that is left is someone with power who isn't afraid to use it, her single purpose is revenge against the one-eyed reminder of her past. Even going so far as throwing away her past as an agent of Hellsing. I wonder how Seras will eventually turn back to working for Hellsing later now that she has a taste of freedom, but i think she'll feel better serving as that gives her a purpose after mr. one-eye is dealt with.

Ok, so we get to see that Newt isn't as heartless as she herself thinks she is. Clearly, she believed that what she has done was necessary, and sometimes even kind to those she killed. I think this is the first time after the catacombs she tries to reach out and helps someone without thought of gaining something in return. I think that this is the biggest idea the Hellsing anime tries to convey, that good or bad, everyone seeks to have a greater purpose. I think you manage to continue that, both with Heinkel, Seras and now also Newt so far :)

You really built this up good, brick by bloody brick, just to tear it down. I know i predicted that one-eye was who i thought he was, but i think how Seras eventually found out was well placed in the story. You really aren't very kind to her, even if this will help her grow as a person/vampire etc. Perhaps it will also allow her to see another facet of what makes Newt, since she too lives more for revenge than justice.
I really like Seras, mostly due to our facination with big guns, and seeing her repeatedly kicked in the ribs is painful. However, it all goes towards making her into the person she can be, and you are making excellent work of it so i'll try not to complain too much :p
