This is so beautiful! Stiles is such a deep, complex character and you've just absolutely nailed it. Such a great read!

Great until the self hate at the end.

Oh, no, this made me so sad. The most important part of Teen Wolf for me is the Scott/Stiles friendship and I hope it never goes away, and this just, it hurts. The backstory trope will probably always hurt me and this is a really good example of why I hate it.

It's just so. . .cute. . . I want them to be best friends forever and the ending - when I remembered Scott stepping into the gasoline holding a road flare - it brought everything back and I want to believe that no matter what happens, Scott and Stiles will always have each other. :/

Here, I really like how you showed the bond that Scott and Stiles have. It's an honestly welcomed reprieve from the flood of Sterek fics (I don't mind them, but I remember when there was only Season 1, and most of the fics used to be about Stiles and Scott). I really like how you show them doing little kid stuff-and basically everyday stuff. It's nice to see normality like lacrosse and Christmas colored backpacks, for example. :)
