That was a very nice piece and I enjoyed how you presented Sly's thoughts on the matter! Actually, that was a twist I never saw coming and I can't say I liked it but I didn't hate it either! What I liked about it is how much it helped Bentley evolve as a character! I believe he's a very well developed character as he's been through the toughest among the three of the Cooper Gang! Sure Sly's cool and all but I feel Bentley has a deeper character development than Sly himself! And Penelope's betrayal was just one more thing that made Bentley stronger, thus making him end up becoming an even greater character!

I don't dislike the twist of Penelope itself, merely the execution of it. Like you said, there are hints in game three that she isn't the best person around. But she also did seem to have good qualities. If she was going to be the bad guy, they should have a.) foreshadowed it properly and b.) made her more conflicted about what she was doing and not overly hammy about being Evil.

Dude, I really needed this to convince my friend that the 'evil Penelope' plot-twist was pretty justified. Thanks, man!

I am one of those fans who also did not like what Sanzaru did with Penelope although I wouldn't call it turning her evil because like you said evil is a really strong word. This story did get me thinking a little more about the whole situation and while I still don't think I like they did I will admit you got a point. People are complicated. I had a friend who I thought would never leave me not talking to me anymore and in hindsight I don't know how I didn't see it coming. So to sum everything up it was a good story that made me think a little about something from a new perspective. Good job!

I really, really like this! It's different than most stories by showing the friendship that the three of them have. I thought this story was deep in mean and incredibly well written. So I hope you write more soon! :D
