Awsome story! really, I mean it ;3. I found it interesting that you thought about doing time-lapses in the story. To be honest, I was actually excited, since I found it pretty hard to describe a character's personality during their life-spam in a story, since the way they act can change drastically depending on their age. It made me even happier after I found it perfect the way you described each character. You nailed it, great job! :D

I love this story, even if some parts made me really sad.

Wow. Wow. I was riveted up until the last sentence. You just-what the-how-? You just really get Sasayan and Natsume and their pairing so well, and you expanded it so realistically, it's like the development could've been in the real manga. Like the part where Natsume's like, "I always feel like I'm losing to you," I was like, "That's so her!" And even though she's changed and grown up, you still managed to incorporate the Natsume we all know and love.

And grownup!Sasayan is beautiful. I love him so much. Actually teenage!Sasayan was pretty great as well. I just really love the way you wrote Sasyan, like the parts where:

"He wants to. He imagines them stuck together for the rest of his life and he knows that the thought should horrify him but it doesn't, it really doesn't, especially when he thinks about the empty opposite."

and

"You can rip up my heart just so long as you take it."

and

"the only thing he knows for sure anymore is that he still wants her, he has always wanted her"

Yeah. Especially the last two. Adult!Sasayan is great. Also, I like the part where he's like "I want to take a bite-of what, is ambiguous" in the beginning. Clever. A lot of your writing (especially the dialogue) is just really clever, and it's great.

On that note, can I just say I love your style? I'm so tired of authors just cramming all these sentences into paragraphs and describing what they mean instead of showing it, and this is just perfect. Each sentence is lean like a soccer player, and the conciseness just has so much of bigger emotional impact. No scene is overdone, and the abrupt feeling of all the scene switches works because they just all come together in the end.
