I don't know what's wrong with me but I really do enjoy a suffering Loki and you made him suffer so nicely here. :-) The one where Frigga kills him...geez Louise. And he doesn't fight it. He needs intensive, in-patient, full-time, multi-faceted therapy. He's so very broken. My heart breaks for him (that's an understatement). The whole thing is sort of like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure horror story told the way I used to read those books: marking my place so I could go back and make the other choice, so that I got all possible versions. Thanos has picked apart every vulnerability, every fear, every last bedrock of safety and ripped Loki to shreds. But the worst, to me, is the infringement on reality, how he can never unfeel his mother's hands on his neck, or unhear the words she said, in the dream state. (It's part of my headcanon that something like this had to have happened, to make Loki's "you threw me into an abyss" line make sense - this seems to be him confusing reality and a nightmarish version of reality.) You didn't write the ending but I know what it is: Eir puts Loki in a protective coma of some sort, a sleep so deep that dreams can't reach him (I'm sure that's a thing...). Thor (or Frigga, or Odin, or best of all, all three) track down Thanos and kill him Dead, and bring back a finger or something to prove it to Loki. Eir wakes him, Loki gets some serious therapy and a reduced, compassionate punishment that takes mitigating circumstances into consideration. And they all live Happily Ever After. Yep. I'm happy it ends on a note of hope, which allows me to believe that's how it will turn out. Great story.

Wow. Good example for you (your mind) can be your worst enemy. Poor Loki. But story is amazing. Creepy, full of madness and kind of scary but still amazing.

Seriously though, WOW. Vivid discriptions and the last dream was the one that really destroyed me, with Loki thinking that his mother is strangling him and not offering up any resistance... *sobs uncontrollably*

I died a thousand deaths reading this fic. I think I have to take a break now. Good grief. The second to last dream with Frigga honestly fooled me. You are really skilled, you know that? I really believed it, just like Loki, and then... cripes.
