thinkdragonage chapter 60 . 5/21 God this chapter is such a perfect encapsulation of why they are so wrong for each other. |
thinkdragonage chapter 59 . 5/21 Yes, I truly have come to hate Elissa. But it's a love to hate thing, and I'll read anything at all you want to write about her. |
thinkdragonage chapter 61 . 5/21 I am not sure what happened but I never seemed to have read the last few chapters of this until now, and holy hell I can't stop thinking about them. Your Elissa is an AMAZING villain. That scene with Alistair in the last chapter was both hot and disturbing! That takes skill. And this chapter, for some reason, the scene I cannot get out of my head is poor Alistair, clearly still reeling from Elissa's 'punishment', blowing out chunks of food as he's stuffing his face. And the elven fanclub watching him practice... it's all so perfect. I love absolutely everything about this fic and I miss it dearly 3 Still hoping for a happy ending for Zevran, Alistair and Kalya. I love them all so much. And I hope Elissa gets some kind of justice for her crime of humiliating Alistair. That's pretty much unforgiveable! |
Arcane Warrior 2012 chapter 49 . 6/29/2019 I wanted to reserve my comment for last chapter, but I couldn't. This is a wonderful story but I hope inspite of pairing in summary, Zev and Kalya will be together at last. How hard I might try I can't feel emotionally for Kalya and Alistair even if Elissa and Alistair have quite bland relationship. Zev and Kalya, they just blew my breath away. So much hurt, so much care, two broken souls, only two who at the end of day can understand each other. |
Riptide Monzarc chapter 61 . 6/17/2019 An effective look at Kalya's growing confidence, and Elissa's loosening grip. The look into Elissa's history and motivations was very nice, and I look forward to seeing how the group evolves; I'm still pulling for Kalyastair, but I'll be interested either way ;) Until next time! |
Guest chapter 60 . 9/7/2018 I hate your Elyssa. Hate her. She's vile. You're a clever writer, able to ring emotion from me, but I really really loathe her and don't like spending time with her. I actually want her entire team to tell her to f-off because she is destroying the people who ideally would want to help her. I really want to see her catch on fire and die, but she'll likely talk Alistair into being the sacrifice, and then write him off as that dunce who just had to do his job. So at this point, I choose not to spend any more time with her. Again, I think you're a really terrific writer. It's just upsetting me for me to keep reading. |
olivegbg chapter 60 . 8/26/2018 Oh, Alistair and Elissa are disturbingly hot! |
olivegbg chapter 56 . 8/13/2018 I kind of like Elissa. I might be wrong, but I do. |
olivegbg chapter 55 . 8/13/2018 Aaaw, Alistair. You are really trying your best. |
olivegbg chapter 54 . 7/21/2018 Down there Kalya got grit, always had. Just forgot it, or wanted to forget it. |
Riptide Monzarc chapter 54 . 7/19/2018 Another deep meditation on the nature and persistence of addiction, especially in stressful or traumatic circumstances. The distance between Kalya and Zev feels authentic and tragic, as though Kalya's just one more vice that Zev has to endure in small sips lest it drag him back into his own dark hole. I still detect a few guttering candleflames of potential between Kal and Alistair, but more than anything Ali just feels guilty for far more than he should...which is true to his nature. I am looking forward to the next installment. :) |
Candle in the Night chapter 53 . 7/7/2018 Things are definitely heating up. Kalya's new found Grey Warden abilities hopefully means that she will become a productive member of the team rather than just the drunk. That can't hurt her self-esteem, which has been in the gutter for too long. Interesting to see Elissa lose her discipline as well. She clearly feels threatened, or is she always like that? She's certainly cold most of the time. I'm hoping that things improve now for some of these characters- they've certainly had it rough for a while now. |
thinkdragonage chapter 53 . 7/7/2018 So happy to see this return! And happy that Zevran was able to convince Alistair to save Kalya, though his consternation over how he did it is heartbreaking. But seeing Kalya so happy to be alive and finally be a warden is satisfying! I love that Alistair was holding back in their sparring match while Elissa clearly was NOT. The dynamic has shifted somewhat... Kalya isn't nearly as 'expendable' now as a Grey Warden as she once might've been. Curious to see where that leads in the future! |
olivegbg chapter 53 . 7/7/2018 Oh, I thought this had died, and now I'm overjoyed. This is a great story, with all the nuances, and you can really feel the characters. I love it. I'll be here! :D |
Imminent chapter 52 . 4/18/2018 SAY SOMETHING KALYA! |
