Okay, so I've finished the second chapter just a few minutes ago. I guess it was...painfully...uhh..beautiful? Hahaha I don't really know how to express what I felt. It felt a bit dragging at first, with all the background stories and I also have to deal with the parallelism going on. But I trust you so I won't complain. I know you did that for our own good. XD But even if it felt a bit dragging etc (I guess because it was very long), I actually read it in one sitting! Coz part of me (like 3/4 of me) is aching to know more about these two characters that should be very familiar by now (given that I have read the manga over and over multiple times already) but were so unfamiliar to me in this story. And I ached to know more about them and each word served as some sort of relief for that ache. I ended up scrolling and scrolling until 2am. These people are so damn in character! I felt like I was reading the manga. And one thing I want to commend you for is you are successful in writing a mermaid story without the disney-vibes! It's romantic (oh hell yes no doubt) without feeling forced. You managed to make it feel so real. You painted a picture of companionate love between our OTP. And it's beautiful. There's commitment and intimacy, blended very well. Now I just have to wait for passion to be added in there for it to be perfect. I really adore how you make your stories, it's uncommon here in this site. You are one of the few who write this kind of fluff that's not really fluffy.
